Borala wewa ( Reservoir) is located in near Weligama - Imaduwa road in Weligama area. Borala reservoir is the main water sources for the paddy cultivation in Weligama and suburbs area. When you are traveling to Imaduwa, you can easily spot this tank, because the main road  goes over the tank corridor. There is no exact record about the creator of Borala lake. Travelers, who are visiting the area, used to come to this place for bathing and sight seeing. This is a very good place to relax in the evening.
