There are no on-call butlers yet room service is seamless and the staff are prompt when responding to requests. The chefs visibly engage with guests in the restaurant. The 60-metre crescent-shaped Moon Pool for the over 12s champions the most spectacular coastal views. Below is a well-equipped gym and a casual surf bar that spills onto a terrace where pathways lead to magical ocean lookout spots. From the gardens to the beach, the accommodations are spread out across
12 acres, nestled into the lush surroundings. Each of the luxury villas
is well-thought out and spacious (the largest luxury villas in Sri
Lanka), with clusters of 2-3 individual villas set around a pool and
garden. Villas offer more privacy and potentially better views depending upon the type you book, yet are all extremely spacious – hallways lead to a vast bedroom and into a similarly huge bathroom with a walk-in wardrobe, and their big verandas are designed for dining and lounging. Rooms have minibars, coffee machines and tea-making facilities as well as Sonos speakers and a Smart TV loaded with a big collection of categorized movies and television shows.

for honeymoon romance, they have sweeping Indian ocean views from both

Cape Weligama has five restaurants and bars which offer food and drinks. Cape Weligama has two restaurants: Ocean Terrace is a dramatic, wooden
pavilion with sweeping views of the sea, while Ocean Grill is a
12-seater steakhouse which requires advanced booking. The main restaurant is positioned at the top of the cape with panoramic south easterly views. Dishes draw influence from local, western and wider Asian cuisines, executed with both refinement and flair.

Visitors favorite choices were Ocean Terrace and the Surf bar. The Surf bar is the place to go if you want to spend your day enjoying a cocktail or snacking on their light menu. Its atmosphere is at casual and sophisticated, making it the perfect place to while away the hours by the beach. Ocean Terrace is the hotel’s main restaurant and it serves a modern menu with local and international influences. Ocean Terrace features one of Cape Weligama most picturesque spots, offering a dramatic views of the Sri Lankan coastline and the rolling waves below. Every night for dinner we would walk down and seat ourselves with the rest of the guests. Dishes included Sri Lankan specialties, local fresh fish as well as some western options. This resort promises the moon and delivers, with an
unheated, adults-only, 60 meters, crescent-shaped pool, with an infinity
edge that curves around the cape, where swimmers can enjoy 270-degree

The sports
center has a spa and gym, while the Surf Bar has a big screen which
sometimes plays the occasional movie or important sporting event. Apart from the moon shaped infinity pool there are other pools however, and in one
